How AESTHETIC training *ACTUALLY* made me feel & why I no longer train for that purpose.

Oooooffffff, todays episode gets DEEP. 

 

This week I really wanted to discuss my experience with hypertrophy training for aesthetic purposes, and how it *ACTUALLY* made me feel in the end. I reflect on my gym journey and open up on all the red flags I ignored that led to me feeling miserable & unhappy in my own skin. 

 

The podcast then dives into the changes I made that have led me to living a much more sustainable lifestyle, with training that feeds my soul and gives me purpose.

 

DISCLAIMER: Muscle building is REALLY important. But the obsession with training to look a certain way made me lose my head. This is not a slam on hypertrophy training, but a reflection on how it *can* cause some people to spiral into self obsession & seeking external validation.
