Stop Letting ANXIETY be your IDENTITY in 2025

I thought I would talk to you guys about Anxiety this week, after being inspired by the film Inside Out 2 the other day, which literally allowed me to visualise SO CLEARLY how my head used to feel. I hope this episode helps shed some light on my experience, but also helps some of you who may be going through the same.

Mental Health Helplines:

 

  • Samaritans: Free, 24/7 helpline for adults that you can call at 116 123 
     
  • Shout: Free, 24/7 crisis text line that you can text SHOUT to 85258 
     
  • Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM): Helpline that you can call at 0800 58 58 58 from 5 PM to midnight, every day 
     
  • Childline: Helpline for children and young people that you can call at 0800 1111 
     
  • Young Minds Parents Helpline: Helpline for adults concerned about the mental health of a child or young person up to the age of 25 that you can call at 0808 802 5544 
     
  • The Silver Line: Helpline for older people that you can call at 0800 4 70 80 90 
     
  • MindEd: Advice for older people and those who care for them 
     
  • Rethink: Helpline that you can call at 0808 801 0525 or email advice@rethink.org 
     
     
     
    And an app I recommend highly is the CALM App - I used to use this alot to help me distract my brain when it was racing, especially at night. The Sleep stories are a personal favourite!
